Reviving The Jewel: A Glimpse into the Restoration Journey of Old City Hall

We had the pleasure of hosting a tour for some developer and designer friends from Seattle, giving them a firsthand look at our cherished jewel and the remarkable progress being made in its restoration. As we navigated through the building, it was evident that significant strides have been taken, particularly in completing the interior seismic work.

With that crucial phase behind them, the next chapter unfolds on the meticulous task of rebuilding the interior. It's wonderful to witness our beloved structure gradually being pieced back together.

This structure holds a special place not just in our hearts, but also in the architectural landscape of the West Coast. Its timeless beauty and historical significance serve as a testament to the craftsmanship of generations past. Now, as they breathe new life into its walls, they are fueled by a sense of purpose and a commitment to preserving its legacy for generations to come.

Future atrium special event space

The finished project will have a restaurant, a special event space, several smaller food/beverage spaces, offices, residential, a gym and an open courtyard.
