Peaks and Pints solves Proctor District parking crisis

Who needs to drive when there are more than 600 pints to try less than a peak from home?

Trunk prominently planted, Peaks and Pints towers over the historic Proctor District, which sits between the Stadium District & Point Defiance.

Within walking distance from the oldest movie theater in Washington state, shops, and treasured neighborhood in the Proctor District, Peaks and Pints is located at Proctor & N 26th St next to Chalet Bowl.

As many 'a grumpy entrepreneur has said Location, Location, Location.  And as many 'a grumpy everyone has said- Timing is everything. Ron Swarner & brothers Justin Peterson, Robby Peterson could not have timed their latest introduction any better.

Contrary to neighborhood parking concerns many remain optimistic that the North-End neighborhood will retain its charm despite two larger apartment buildings set to begin development in the near future.

    That's so PNW

Sharp eyes paying mind to the finer details, Peaks and Pints gives the nod to many things we've all grown to love about Proctor. Centered action & communal sized tables makes for an open and inviting atmosphere.

Ahhh the selection. Now this is a treat that cannot be spoiled- their selection is massive. From their website,"Peaks and Pints houses a mind-boggling array of suds: some 650 or so bottled and canned in our cooler, with another 28 on tap, including nitro lines. While craft beer remains our foundation, you don’t have to be embarrassed for ordering artisan craft cider, wine, cold brewed coffee and kombucha as those delights are on tap too at Peaks and Pints."

I washed my beer down with The Roastmary - Roast beef, smoked gouda, red onion & rosemary mayonnaise toasted on rye. Served with a side of chips & a pickle spear. Apparently Peaks has more than one good plate, after lunch my associate turned into a 4 year old who refused to eat or say anything besides 'sandwich.' Yes, Travis, we can go back for sandwich.

Even if you are a long-time resident of Proctor dreading the looming possibility of parking problems.. fine establishments from long-time Tacomans, ambitious individuals who enjoy sharing their craft with the community at the heart of it all; leaves a great deal to be excited about!

    Congratulations, Peterson Brothers & Ron!
